We "heart" Shae

Brock loves playing with shae! He had so much fun with her at willow park. He's so funny around shae, he is like a protective big brother. Nicole and I love getting together and watching them! They've sort of become water buddies too, they're so cute! It's so awesome to have such great friends!

we have the cutest neighbors ever! Brock was so excited to ride his bike down the middle of the street and honk his little bike horn with all of his friends! All the kids in the neighborhood decorated their bikes and strutt their stuff up and down the road. Brock thought this was the coolest thing ever!

We love our new ward! Brock loves nursery and all of his neighbor friends in there with him! Relief Society is so much fun! We love it! We all actually look forward to each class! Our bishop is so awesome too! We thank our father in heaven every day for all that we have been given! We feel so blessed to live where we live!

Ah! Summer!

First of all, I am so sorry that it has been so long since i posted anything! Somehow i had changed my post format and i couldn't upload any pics. But we're back!! We'd been caged animals ( literally) for so long that now that the weather is nice and we're all healthy(finally!) it's like we've just been on a dead run! Trying to play and do as much as we possibly can! I hope you all don't mind if we back pedal a little bit and share what we've been up to this past month. Where to begin.. well first of all we have been so blessed with such an awesome neighborhood! Brock has so many friends, so many that he has a hard time making his mind up with who to play with first. And so far this summer i have learned that a little boy can attract all the bugs, dirt, and rocks from the entire neighborhood in less than ten minutes. Amazing! We've also tried to live out at the lake in preston at my parents cabin! Brock loves to fish and play in the sand. He catches more fish than his daddy does! i think Ry notices this because every chance he gets he's trying to catch up to him, with no luck. We've loved going to the pool with our friends! Brock is such al ittle water dog! We love you Brocky!

Before I was a Mom,
I never tripped over toys
or forgot words to a lullaby.
I didn't worry whether or not
my plants were poisonous.
I never thought about immunizations.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never been puked on.
Pooped on.
Chewed on.
Peed on.
I had complete control of my mind
and my thoughts.
I slept all night.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held down a screaming child
so doctors could do tests.
Or give shots.
I never looked into teary eyes and cried.
I never got gloriously happy over a simple grin.
I never sat up late hours at night
watching a baby sleep.

Before I was a Mom,
I never held a sleeping baby just because
I didn't want to put him down.
I never felt my heart break into a million pieces
when I couldn't stop the hurt.
I never knew that something so small
could affect my life so much.
I never knew that I could love someone so much.
I never knew I would love being a Mom.

Before I was a Mom,
I didn't know the feeling of
having my heart outside my body.
I didn't know how special it could feel
to feed a hungry baby.
I didn't know that bond
between a mother and her child.
I didn't know that something so small
could make me feel so important and happy.

Before I was a Mom,
I had never gotten up in the middle of the night
every 10 minutes to make sure all was okay.
I had never known the warmth,
the joy,
the love,
the heartache,
the wonderment
or the satisfaction of being a Mom.
I didn't know I was capable of feeling so much,
before I was a Mom.
